The French school is located in the heart of the city, close to the the train station and a 15 minutes walk to the beach. The school is set in two completely renovated buildings from the turn of the 20th Century with air conditioned classrooms, a computer room and a cafeteria. Students can be accommodated in the same building as the school in single and double rooms over 3 different floors. A private garden planted with palm trees and flowers brings an exceptional atmosphere to the school.

Facilities include:

11 air conditioned classrooms with audio-visual equipment, a computer room with 12 computers and a free cyber space with 8 computers. There are drink/snack vending machines for students during break. Students can also enjoy WiFi in the Private garden.

Courses

Standard course

This short term course is suitable for students that want a general French course focusing on the four key language skills: speaking, reading, writing and listening. Suitable for students with previous knowledge of French or complete beginners that have a short time to spend learning the language abroad.

Combined courses

Students follow the Standard French course in Nice, France and have an extra 5 or 10 private lessons each week depending on how intensive a course they desire. Private tuition

Lessons can be tailored to the needs and requirements of the students, to a particular subject or focusing on a specific exam. Students can have private lessons on a 2 to 1 basis providing they are of a similar ability.

DELF preparation course

Accommodation

Host Family

Choosing to stay with a host family is the best way to discover a different lifestyle and to get regular practice of a foreign language in a friendly atmosphere. The school very carefully select it’s French host families. To help you integrate into your French host family and to quickly establish a friendly relationship with them, we try to take your age, profession, hobbies and interests into consideration.

Students can choose to stay in a Single room (double room on request) on a Breakfast or half board (breakfast + evening meal) basis. Most host families live within a 30 minute walk from school. Those living a little further can be accessed by bus or tramway.

Campus Residence

The Campus Residence is situated within the premises of the French school and provides 21 recently renovated light and spacious rooms. On each floor, you will find a TV, a telephone and a large fully equipped communal kitchen to prepare your own meals and meet other residents in congenial surroundings. It goes without saying that this arrangement can only work if the essential rules of community life are respected. The ‘Campus Central’ Residence provides all that is needed for the daily upkeep of the kitchen and your own room. Your own personal washing can be done at the local launderette.

All the rooms, single or double, have their own shower and toilet. The surface area varies between 15 and 22 m2 and entirely meet the modern requirements of comfort and convenience. Tastefully decorated, they also provide good storage space and a functional work environment.

Transfer

We can arrange a transfer for students at an extra cost from Nice (NCE) airport or train station to take them to their accommodation. Alternatively students can get a taxi to their accommodation. We are happy to advice you of the best travel options.

Leisure

The school strongly believes that whilst students work hard on their French courses in Nice they also need time to relax. A complete range of cultural, sporting and social activities are organised for students and teachers alike. This way students are encouraged to put their new language skills into practice and speak French whilst taking part in leisure activities. This programme is an integral part of the language learning experience – an experience that goes far beyond the classroom.
